YC3/Week 9/Lesson 39
Dear Young Child 3 Parent:
“Music develops the appetite for learning and creates habits of self-discipline and personal tenacity which carry over into every facet of school. Young musicians are skilled at concentration, alertness, memory, and self-control. These attributes are basic for success in higher education, but more importantly, in succeeding at life.”*
Through varied activities, Kindermusik provides an exciting learning atmosphere, skill-building opportunities, and a positive social environment. I hope that you find that your child continues to progress and learn about music as well as enjoy music-making! Please feel free to contact me should you have any concerns or questions.
*The Joy of Inspired Teaching, by Tim Lautzenheiser, p. 55.
P.S. Activity Page 7a is designed to help your child learn about the new note, low d. Please complete the page and bring it back to class next week.
