WEEK 5
Dear Imagine That! Parent:
Today the children were introduced to a number of activities that focus on rain: rain sounds, dressing for a rainy day, dancing in the rain, looking for the rainbow and playing in the mud after the rain! (Ask your child about the Mud Puddle Jump!)
While engaging your child’s imagination in a meaningful and pleasurable activity, pretend play also invites exploration, discovery, use of language, spontaneous music-making and more! Encourage your child’s pretend play at home by creating a positive environment for creativity. Telling stories while playing with the Play Set is a perfect way to begin!
P.S. Be sure to bring your homemade rain shaker to class next week. We will make rain shaker music together!
